John Lever, Manchester Metropolitan University, is the co-organiser of conference. He is joint editor of the recent edited collection Towards and an Eliasian Understanding of Food in the 21st Century (2024) in the Palgrave Studies on Norbert Elias Series.
Dr Wai Lau
Wai Lau, University of Manchester, is the co-organiser of the conference. His recent book On the Process of Civilisation in Japan (2022) won the Norbert Elias Book Prize in 2023, awarded by the Norbert Elias Foundation.
